Description

A small, non-sterile threaded rod with a slotted head used in discectomy and spinal fusion procedures as a means of providing immobilisation and stabilisation of spinal segments in the treatment of various spinal instabilities or deformities. It is made of a material that does not chemically degrade or absorb through the body's natural processes. It is possible to transvuntally augment the vertebra with cement.

For bone chips removal - tapping grooves at the tip of the screw.For screwdriver insertion/removal - internal hexagonal hole.Head type - chamberon type. The cross-sectional shape of the head is round. For spondylolisthesis operations - annular groove on the head for connection of the pressuriser.

Laser marking of the screw diameter. Sterilisation required.
