Next-Generation Grain Hopper Car Model 19-9870-01 for Efficient Bulk Transport

The new generation hopper wagon model 19-9870-01 is equipped with a running gear with axial load of 25 tonnes.

Increased load capacity up to 76.5 tonnes and 101 m³ body volume of the hopper wagon allow to use its load capacity to the maximum when transporting grain cargoes of medium density. This aspect makes it possible to increase the useful load in the wagon by 6-7% in comparison with analogues. The locking mechanisms of loading and unloading hatches are equipped with original and effective locking devices - two locking devices reduce the cost of sealing hatches and save time during loading and unloading operations.

A significant competitive advantage of the car model 19-9870-01 is the extended time between overhauls, which provides almost 3 times reduction of the life cycle cost of the car.
