The design of the slit-cutter-deep loosener provides work on No Till technology, which means "zero tillage system" - it is an ecological and energy-saving method in which the land is not ploughed, i.e. no-tillage method of soil cultivation is used. In one pass through the field, the slitter-digger performs the following operations: <ul> <li>- loosens and crumbles the soil to a depth of 25 to 55 cm inclusive;</li> <li>rollers break soil clods, levelling and compacting the soil.</li> </ul>It can be used on mouldboard and non-mouldboard backgrounds to deepen and decompact the arable horizon, increase water-absorbing capacity, air permeability and improve meadows and pastures.
