NS ST Non-Cemented Hip Joint Acetabular Cup for Joint Replacement

The sterile implantable main component of a total hip replacement (acetabular component) for acetabular replacement or reconstruction. The component is a one-piece structure made entirely of metal [e.g., stainless steel, titanium (Ti)]; implantation/fixation accessories (e.g., screws, surgical guides, trial prosthesis, anatomical models) may be included. The hemispherical shape with flattened dome reduces the risk of fracture of the acetabular floor and increases cup fixation at the equator.

The additional fixation elements: the circumferential teeth forming the external thread provide a secure primary fixation in various bone conditions (sclerosis or porosis). For fixation of the cup insertion tool, a threaded technological hole is located in the dome. The micro-roughened surface ensures reliable initial press-fit fixation.
