Portable C-Band Satellite Communication Station for Efficient Mobile Connectivity

Wearable satellite communication stations are designed to organise operational communication of mobile groups both in autonomous use (point-to-point mode) and through coordinating centres in mobile satellite communication networks in various situations, e.g. during rescue and repair works, during operative-search and special events.

Mobile communication networks for special and civil purposes based on wearable stations can be organised via existing and future communication satellites.

The stations provide, without additional units, full autonomous operation in speech, digital and text messaging modes.

The design of the stations allows to use for their pointing both the standard slewing ring and tripod, sharing a power supply unit with a transceiver and a high-frequency unit.

A modification of the station has been developed to solve monitoring tasks of industrial enterprises.
