Portable Coefficient of Friction Measuring Device IKSP-RDT for Road Surface Analysis

Meters of coefficient of adhesion portable IKSp-RDT (hereinafter referred to as meters) are designed to measure the coefficient of adhesion of road surfaces, in accordance with certified measurement methodology when used in the field of state regulation of assurance of uniformity of measurements, during construction and repair of motorways, periodic and current control of road surfaces condition.
The Meter is a device consisting of a rod assembly, a base assembly and two return springs. The operating principle of the meter is based on determining the value of horizontal movement on the moistened road surface of the simulator shoe of a car tyre pressed against the pavement at an angle of 45° with the same force and speed in each measurement cycle.
