Non-sterile titanium alloy rod for locked intramedullary osteosynthesis of intertrochanteric, subvertebral and pertrochanteric fractures of the femur. The proximal part has a 6 degree outward bend, circular cross-section, longitudinal grooves to facilitate insertion and preserve the endosteal blood supply. Bevel on the upper outer edge of the rod to minimise muscle trauma at the point of attachment to the greater trochanter. Possibility of single and double screw fixation in the femoral neck depending on the indications and anatomical features of the patient. Universal design for left and right limbs. The diameter and length of the product are laser marked The product is single-use, must be sterilised before use.
