R65 Type Switch Point Conversion for Smooth Railway Track Change

Designed for the transfer of rolling stock from one track to another. It is used on the tracks of railway lines of the Russian Federation with mixed freight and passenger train traffic and speeds of passenger trains on the straight track up to 160 km/h. Design features: transfers: separate fastening; elastic bar terminals Skl; pads with flanges; with subsequent welding of rail joints in the track by aluminium-thermite method; switches: flexible shackles with welded rail ends; elastic U-shaped spring terminals; welded pads with cushions; garniture with external closure; roller devices; crosses: prefabricated with rail whiskers and shortened cast core ( of high manganese steel) with welded to its rear end rail ends.
