Description

The rear axle is designed to connect the rear wheels of one axle to each other, as well as the transmission of torque from the engine through the cardan shaft to the driving wheels and by means of the differential allows the wheels of the car to rotate at different angular speeds. The axle consists of a pressed rear axle crankcase in which a gearbox with cam differential is installed. Hubs with drum brakes are mounted on the crankcase trunnions. Rotation from the gearbox to the wheel-hub group is transmitted through the axles.
