Piranha-6 Fortes Rescue Airboat for Year-Round Operations

Aerolodka is designed for rescue work, as well as patrolling the territory, for delivery of people, cargo, fuel and lubricants under the condition of year-round operation on ice, ice hummocks, including in the far north, on water, shallow water, swampy terrain. The boat hull is a lightweight frame construction on longitudinal tubes, which are used to fix the propeller-engine unit to the inflatable PVC boat. The inflatable hull has shock absorber properties to soften shocks when travelling over obstacles and ice hummocks protruding from the water. The propeller-engine system includes two stationary engines (main running engine and blower engine), an aluminium six-blade impeller based on a gear-belt transmission and airflow control rudders. The cab is mounted on supports via shock absorbing pads, providing reduced vibration and dynamic loading on the airframe, while maintaining joint strength. Fuel - diesel/petrol.
