Description

Machine contact welding MSS-901 is designed for electric resistance welding of wire from coils and spools in the conditions of drawing production, as well as short-sized billets. The machine welds low-carbon, carbon and alloy steels, copper, aluminium and their alloys. The machine is AC, mobile, on a stand with wheels (can also be placed on a table), with a manual cutting device.

Deposition drive is spring-loaded, spring clamping and spring cocking drives are manual. Cooling is air-cooled, natural. MSS-901 is designed for operation in the following conditions: ambient temperature from +1°C to +35°C, ambient humidity up to 80% at 25°C, atmospheric pressure from 84.0 kPa (630 mmHg) to 106.7 kPa (800 mmHg).

Category 4 provides for operation of the machine in closed heated (cooled) and ventilated rooms.
