Description

for mowing of high-yielding and fallow grasses at high and forward speeds with laying the mown mass in the slash. Cutting of plant stems is carried out with the help of plate knives, hingedly mounted on rotors rotating at a speed of 65 m/s towards each other. The knives cut the grass on the principle of pickless cutting, pick it up and carry it out of the cutting zone, moving it above the cutting bar. The knife paths of the neighbouring rotors mutually overlap, thus ensuring a quality cut. The cut grass hitting the shield of the field splitter changes its trajectory, is placed in the swath and makes room for the tractor wheels to pass during the next pass.
