Description
They are designed to reduce loads on the elements of the hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder joints (depending on the type of device), with the transfer of loads to the overlying (from the affected) parts of the upper limb or distribution of loads on other parts of the upper limb. Supports the affected elements of the upper limb in flexion/extension and medial-lateral movements. Can be used as both day and night orthoses. Provides limited movement of the affected elements of the upper limb.
