Snow Blower "Buran-2" - Efficient Snow Removal Equipment

The Buran-2 cutter-rotor snowplough is designed for clearing freshly fallen and accumulated snow. Operation of the equipment is carried out without the use of the tractor's walker. Preserved manoeuvrability in conjunction with the controllability of the thrower makes it possible to use "Buran-2" in urban conditions.

"Buran-2" is effective in removing snow banks from roads near road barriers. The snowplough uses a milling drum combined with a rotor as a cutting working organ, i.e. one working organ fulfils two functions: loosening of snow and ice mass and simultaneous throwing.

The screw blades are placed mirror-like, which allows to move the snow mass to the centre of the milling drum, where the rotor blades are located, which due to centrifugal force throw the snow through the guide spigot at a distance of up to 20m.
