Sulfur Analyzers in Oil for Precise Measurement – IS-T Model

The analyser is intended for determination of mass fraction of sulphur from 0,02 % to 6,0 % in the flow of oil/oil products. The analyser is used for technological control during oil transportation and storage, as well as during blending (compounding) operations, it can be placed as a part of the oil quality measurement unit (OQMU), oil quantity and quality measurement system (OQMS), and autonomously. The working medium enters the flowing cuvette, designed for pressure up to 6.3 MPa, where it is illuminated by X-ray tube radiation.

The detector together with the counting path registers the intensity of the radiation passed through the cuvette, the value of which is automatically recalculated by the built-in computer into the value of the mass fraction of sulphur.
