Underground Fiber Optic Cable OKB - Reliable Connectivity Solution

Optical cable contains a central power element and an outer web of optical modules. The total number of modules is up to 24. Each optical module has up to 36 optical fibres (OF).

Optical modules can be replaced by corded fillers. The total number of single-mode or multimode fibres in the cable is up to 288. Intramodule and intermodule space is filled with hydrophobic compound or other water-blocking material along the entire length.

The hanger of optical modules and cordel fillers is fixed by winding of glass fibre, textile or polymer threads or tapes, on top of which an alumino-polyethylene tape can be applied. An inner sheath of polyethylene or polymer compound is overlaid over the core. Armour made of galvanised steel wire is applied on top of the sheath.

On top of the armour the outer polymer sheath of polyethylene or polymer compound, not spreading combustion single or group laying.
