VKO-OSA Inlet Collector for Optimal Airflow in OSA Fan Wheels

Inlet manifold VKO-OSA serves for correct formation of uniform velocity field at the flow inlet to the blades of the fan wheel of the OSA series when operating without mains at the inlet. VKO-OSA must be installed also on the suction duct at the subsequent installation of the fan, because in case of flanged inlet of the flow into the axial fan or duct there is a significant reduction of the flow rate and pressure generated by the fan due to losses at the flange edge.
One side of the VKO-OSA is attached to the inlet flange of the housing of the axial fan of the OSA series; on the second side it can be attached, for example, to the Large Safety Net (SEB-OSA).
