Vokker SHU-PV-L3200 Screw Press for Waste Management Applications

The Vökker Screw Squeezing Press is a device for squeezing waste lifted by the mechanical cleaning grids from the sewage channel. The Vökker squeezer is installed after the mechanical treatment grids in sewage treatment plants and sewage treatment plants.

Principle of operation: Rubbish and waste are discharged from the mechanical cleaning grids into the receiving hopper of the press, under the pressure of the auger the moisture is pressed out of the waste, which is discharged through the cut holes. Further, the rubbish and waste are moved by a screw to the compaction zone, from which they are discharged into a container in a squeezed form. The excess moisture is drained back into the channel. In case the equipment becomes clogged with debris, a flushing system is provided.
