Acti-Fine Vacuum Blood Collection Tubes for Hematological Studies

Acti-Fine vacuum tubes for haematological tests contain K2EDTA (1.8 mg/il of blood). EDTA blocks the coagulation cascade by binding calcium ions, ensuring the stability of red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets in the blood sample for up to 24 hours. Full bore screw threads on the cap and tube to avoid spillage of material during transport, mixing and centrifugation, and for repeated opening and closing of the tube without splashing of material, to prevent the risk of contamination.
