Description
The air purifying device is intended for cleaning from dust and other mechanical inclusions of cyclic air coming from the atmosphere to the compressor of the driving gas turbine engine in order to reduce the erosive wear of its vane apparatus to the limits permissible under the conditions of the engine resource, as well as to reduce dust deposits in the flowing part of the compressor, reducing the economic performance of the engine. The HEU is designed to work in conjunction with a heating system for cycle air, which operates on the principle of mixing hot exhaust gases to the intake atmospheric air at the inlet.
