Description
They are designed for uniform feeding of dry materials with bulk weight up to 2.8 tonnes/m3 into machines and conveying devices. They are used at enterprises of mining, metallurgical industry; on lines for production of dry construction mixtures, etc. In belt feeders feeding of dry materials is carried out by means of a belt, which is driven by an electric motor through a chain transmission or gearbox. The moving belt, which delivers the material to the conveying or processing machines, is positioned directly under the hopper from which the material is discharged. The amount of material fed by the feeder is controlled by a special flap and the speed of the belt.
