Description

The SKALA-R MBD.X Big Data Machine is designed for storage and massively parallel data processing. The machine supports fault-tolerant architecture and is created using equipment and specialised software configured to perform specified functions. The machine includes external access, internal communication and monitoring networks, contains query coordination, computation and storage systems in a fault-tolerant configuration, and may also contain a backup system. The SCALA-R MBD.X Big Data Machine is completed from the SCALA-R Base Module and an individual set of the following SCALA-R modules: Basic Management and Distribution Module; Coordination Module; Basic Aggregation Module; Functional Module; Computation and Storage Module; Boundary Function Module; Unstructured Processing Module; Switching, Computation and Storage Module; Backup Module; Specialised Module; Combination Module.
