Block of remote cyclones of boiler BKZ-420-140-PT-2

The remote cyclones are devices of the second stage of evaporation of the steam boiler. In the upper part of each cyclone there is a perforated vapour-receiving ceiling, which equalises the lifting velocities of vapour over the whole cross-section of the cyclone. In the cyclones, water squeezed against the wall flows downwards, while steam rising upwards passes through the perforated sheet equalising the steam lift velocities across the cyclone cross-section and is directed into the steam volume of the boiler drum. The cyclones are combined in a block of three pieces.
