Blood Irradiation X-ray Machine "ARDOK-1" for Safe Blood Transfusions

The device "ARDOK-1" is designed for irradiation of donor blood and its components with X-rays. It is used in all cases when it is necessary to perform blood transfusion immunosuppressed patients, in order to remove from the transfused material any foreign cells that may be incompatible with the recipient. ARDOK-1 can be used in blood banks, haematological institutes and relevant research centres, clinics for the treatment of immunosuppressed patients, bone marrow transplantation centres, centres for the treatment of blood pathologies and leukaemia, oncological institutes and relevant research centres, genetic institutes, pharmacological institutes, perinatal centres. It can be operated both in X-ray rooms and outside them (in wards, operating theatres, donor stations, etc.).
