Carbon Fiber Prosthetic Foot for Enhanced Mobility in M1-M3 Amputees

The carbon fibre reinforced plastic foot is designed for patients of M1-M3 activity level with unilateral or bilateral amputation of femur of all levels or tibia on the border of upper, middle and lower thirds, and can also be used in prostheses after dislocation in knee or hip joints. The foot is available in right and left versions, 7 stiffness categories. It has improved damping properties in the forefoot phase, easy and smooth rolling. The use of carbon fibre-reinforced plastic elements with non-linear stiffness characteristics in the foot structure ensures energy return proportional to the walking pace. The design of the forefoot resilient element provides increased stability in the full-foot support phase and energy recovery in the rear kick phase. The 1H21Y foot shell has a narrow design and will be comfortable for women's shoes.
