Chlorhexidine and Sodium Hyaluronate Solution "Gialudent" for Antiseptic Treatment of Periodontal Pockets

"Hyaludent" contains chlorhexidine - antiseptic agent. Together with hyaluronic acid chlorhexidine has the most effective antimicrobial action. The mechanism of action lies in the binding of hyaluronic acid a large amount of chlorhexidine and transport it into the tissue with the subsequent prolonged release of the active ingredient. At high concentrations of chlorhexidine the cytoplasmic content of the bacterial cell is precipitated, which ultimately leads to the death of bacteria.
