Vessel purpose: designed for carriage:

in cargo tanks - oil products with vapour flash point over 60°C;
on the cargo deck - crushed stone, rolled steel, cars, including on removable decks of international standard containers, other general and bulk cargoes not afraid of wetting.
According to the British Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA - Royal Institution of Naval Architect), RST54 project ships were included in the list of 50 best ships of 2014.
