Description

Compensating reactors are designed to work in the equipment complex of static thyristor reactive power compensators used for voltage stabilisation in 6,10,35 and 110 kV networks and to improve the quality of electricity. The reactor is a monolithic construction, the basis of which and the main bearing element is the reactor winding itself. All metal parts of the reactor are under the same voltage as the winding, eliminating the possibility of insulation breakdown. In the reactor winding design there are no disassembled mechanical connections (screw-nut, etc.), which ensures durability and eliminates the need for maintenance of mechanical connections during operation. The reactor does not contain liquids and flammable materials in its design, cannot be a source of fire, is explosion-proof.
