Description

The data storage system based on the dual-processor domestic platform "Elbrus" is designed for use on the public communications network for receiving, accumulation and high-performance access to various types of data and provides a wide range of opportunities for creating data storage and equipping data centres. The system allows you to quickly build IT infrastructure in the company and provide placement of services and applications. It can also be used as a server for security, communication, e-mail, NAS-storage with NFS/SMB interface, FTP-server, as well as in the form of office workflow system, electronic archive.

It has high fault tolerance, its own technologies exclude overheating of hard discs. If necessary, the server configuration can be changed by applying various expansion cards and installing single-processor or multiprocessor system modules without structural changes. Possibility of "hot-swapping" of hard discs.
