Demetra series BPT model BPT-4,2 heavy two-row battery

The BPT series harrows are designed for surface tillage to a depth of 25 cm, chopping crop residues and weed killing. The working bodies of the harrow are spherical discs with a diameter of 780-810 mm, assembled in a battery. Each battery is mounted on two stands with an inclination to the vertical.

The upper part of the stand is shaped, closed with a shaped cover, and elastomers are located in the corners of the formed quadrilateral. The presence of elastomers reduces shock loads on the bearings and allows the disc battery to pass over insurmountable obstacles. Differences of the Demetra® BPT harrow compared to double row disc harrows with discs on an individual stand: Battery harrows are easier to set up and maintain the implement and contain fewer bearing units.

In order to keep costs down, the Demetra® BPT harrow has been made as simple as possible. No packer rollers. No unnecessary hydraulic cylinders.
