Length 207 mm, working part 28 mm.The working part corresponds to the contour of the cervix and is a soft and flexible detachable brush made of trapezoidal plastic bristles of different lengths. The longest middle bristles cover the deepest parts of the cervical canal, the shorter bristles contact the outer part of the cervix and the transformation zone. The flexibility of the bristles allows the cells to be collected without damaging the tissue.

Designed for taking smears for cytological examination from the entire surface of the cervix and from the cervical canal simultaneously: from the outer part of the cervix (ectocervical cells), from the transformation zone (T-zone), from the cervical canal (endocervical cells).Especially effective for cytological screening of cervical cancer. The obtained material can not only be applied directly to the slide, but also used for liquid cytology.
