Description
Vertical truss connections are necessary in the process of erecting a building or structure. They are often referred to as erection ties. Vertical connections help to maintain the stability of trusses by shifting their centre of gravity above the supports. Together with intermediate trusses, they form a spatially rigid block at the ends of the building. Structurally, vertical truss connections are discs consisting of spacers and trusses, which are placed between the rafters of the trusses along the entire length of the building.
