Fire Tanker Truck AC 1.6-40 (C41A23)-72VL for Effective Forest Firefighting

A fire tanker AC 1,6-40 (C41A23)-72 VL (forest version) is made on the basis of a four-wheel drive vehicle of high cross-country ability, designed to extinguish forest fires and is used to deliver to the place of fire personnel of the fire brigade, fire extinguishing agents (1.6 tonnes of water, 100 litres of foaming agent), fire-fighting equipment and special equipment. The tanker truck has a device for filling backpack forest fire extinguishers RLO-M and connection of high-pressure fire-fighting units UVD 10.0-50.0 VL. To increase manoeuvrability and reliability of work in the forest, the tanker cab is modified for installation of reinforced pipe fencing.

The tanker truck has protection of fuel tank and engine sump, and also has protection of flashing beacons and rear lights.
