Fire Tanker Vehicle AC 1.6-40 (C41A23)-70VL for Efficient Forest Firefighting

A fire tanker AC 1,6-40 (C41A23)-70 VL (forest version) of high cross-country ability is designed for extinguishing forest fires and is used for delivery of firefighting personnel, fire extinguishing agents (1,6 tonnes of water, 100 litres of foaming agent), fire-fighting equipment and special equipment to the place of fire.

The tanker truck has a device for filling knapsack forest fire extinguishers RLO-M, connection of high-pressure fire units UVD 10,0-50,0 VL and coupling device for work with fire trailers PLPM-1,0 -10 VL, PLPM-2,0 -10 VL, water capacity of at least 1000 litres.

To increase manoeuvrability and reliability of operation in the forest, the tanker truck is equipped with removable side and rear safety arches, reinforced protection of the fuel tank, engine sump and rear lights.
