Description
"Gas piston engine-generator GDG800T on the basis of gas piston engine 8GCHN21/26 is designed for use as a power plant on shunting locomotives with electric power transmission used for shunting, hauling and city work. The engine provides operation using gas at low speed and operates steadily when part of the cylinders is switched off at idle speed. The engine power is split by gears. Variable engine operation allows the engine to run from 350 to 1200 rpm, which further saves fuel. "
