High-Efficiency Elastomer Absorbing Apparatus APE-90-A.800 Class T2 for Enhanced Energy Absorption

Elastomeric absorbing apparatus APE-90-A.800, class T2 - elastomeric absorbing apparatus with increased energy capacity of class T2 with nominal energy capacity not less than 100 kJ. Viscoelastic silicone composition is used as a working body in the apparatus. By its operational and technical characteristics the device, according to the accepted classification, is designed for effective protection of the structure of wagons and cargoes transported by them from the action of longitudinal loads arising from collision of wagons during shunting operations, on marshalling yards and transient modes of train running. In accordance with the requirements of GOST R 54749-2011, the APE-90-A.800 apparatus is equipped with tank wagons, specialised wagons carrying valuable and dangerous goods of classes 3, 4, 5, 8, 9 according to GOST 19433, as well as mainline locomotives.
