The milling-rotor snowplough is designed for clearing snow from highways and inner-city roads, spreading snow dumps formed by bulldozers and plough snowploughs, laying winter field roads on snow virgin land. The Kirovets K-703MA-OS2 cutter-rotor snowplough is one of the most powerful and productive domestic snowploughs. To work in severe winter conditions the machine underwent additional structural adaptation: vertical joints and steering hydraulic cylinder joints were strengthened, and frost-resistant replaceable bushings of increased strength were used in the joints. The cutters that develop the snow mass and the rotor that throws snow through the spigot are mounted in a common housing placed on the rear half-frame of the snowplough. Changing the throwing angle and the direction of the snow jet to the right or left is done by means of the rotor swivelling cover.
