Large Distractor for Osteosynthesis - Ideal for Bone Fracture Repositioning

Instrument for stable-functional osteosynthesis. It is used for open and closed repositioning of broken femur, tibia, pelvis and acetabulum. Manufactured from corrosion resistant stainless steel.

Fast application, direct application of forces to fragments in need of repositioning. The rod length is 450 mm with M14 threads along its entire length. The distraction length is 350 mm.

One turn of the thrust nut provides a compression step of 1.5 mm. The distractor is mounted on Schanz rods with a diameter of 5, 6 mm, which are fixed with a threaded clamp through swivelling bushings with a rotation step of 6. Sleeve size: length 50 mm and 100 mm.

The distance from the support rod to the Schanz rods is 110 mm. The combination of proximal double and distal joints allows movement in three planes, both individually and synchronously. All clamps provide 360 circumferential location adjustment in increments of 6.
