Description
PPM is designed to measure the frequency of cyclic movements of a mechanical system and count the number of perfect movements. The measured parameters are converted into a digital electrical signal and remotely transmitted to data acquisition systems of geological and technological research (GTI), systems of monitoring, regulation and control of technological processes. The operating principle of the DPM is based on the following.
A magnet is installed on the controlled mechanism (on a gearbox shaft, rod, etc.), which periodically passes by the sensitive head of the DPM. The DPM measures the time interval between the individual passes of the magnet and also counts the total number of magnet passes.
