Meter of parameters of electric and magnetic fields P3-70/1 (hereinafter referred to as "the device") is designed to measure the RMS value of the intensity of alternating electric fields and RMS value of the intensity of alternating magnetic fields (magnetic induction) created by technical means. The instrument is also designed to measure electrostatic field and permanent magnetic field (with the option IPMP-01). With electric antennas the device is designed to measure the intensity of the electric component of the electromagnetic field at workplaces, including workplaces with computer equipment and at the workplaces of personnel operating electrical systems and installations that generate electric fields with frequency 50 Hz and in the frequency range of 0.01 ...

With electrostatic antenna the instrument is designed for measuring electrostatic field strength in free space at workplaces with computer equipment and at workplaces of personnel servicing electrical systems and installations. The measuring unit of the device with magnetic antenna AM 4 consists of the device IPMP-01 - Permanent Magnetic Field Meter, which is designed to measure the magnetic induction of permanent magnetic fields, including geomagnetic (hypogeomagnetic) fields.
The device performs isotropic measurements of electromagnetic and electrostatic field, i.e. simultaneous measurement of all spatial coordinates of the field, which significantly simplifies the measurement process and allows to obtain reliable results when assessing the electromagnetic environment.
