Description
MSUD-N is designed for control of traction electric drive (individually by VIPs) and electrical apparatuses of passenger electric locomotives of EP1M, EP1P types, one-, two-, three-section mainline AC freight electric locomotives with collector traction motors of E5K, 2EL5, 2ES5K types, booster section and other types of electric locomotives, including those operating under the system of many units. MSUD-N implements the functions of automated control of driving modes, control of the electric locomotive equipment condition, delivery to the driver and recording of information on the equipment condition into the non-volatile removable storage device. MSUD-N together with the USAVP or USAVP-G subsystem allows to realise locomotive control in the mode of passenger or goods trains auto-driving.
