Description
Multifunctional salvage vessel with reinforced ice class
Main purpose:
- patrolling, emergency rescue duty;
- search and assistance to vessels in distress;
- search, rescue, evacuation and accommodation of people;
- unshoaling and reefing of emergency vessels, pumping water out of flooded compartments;
- towing of emergency vessels and objects in ice and clear water;
- ice-breaking operations in port and near-port water areas, as well as in freezing non-Arctic seas with ice thickness up to 1.5 metres;
- assisting in extinguishing fires;
- extinguishing fuel burning on water, liquidation of emergency spills of oil and oil products (OSR), including those with flash point below 600 C;
- inspection and cleaning of the underwater part of the hull of vessels, floating and shore objects;
- survey of the seabed and damaged objects at depths of up to 1000 metres.
