Multifunctional Atomic Technology Service Vessel (MATS) Project 22770 for Nuclear Operations

MSATO of project 22770 is designed for the following main technological operations: unloading of spent nuclear fuel from reactor units of serviced vessels; loading of fresh nuclear fuel into reactor units of serviced vessels; reception, storage and delivery of liquid radioactive waste generated during operation of ship reactor units, as well as in the process of nuclear fuel reloading; ageing of spent fuel assemblies in order to reduce residual heat emissions; loading of ageing spent fuel assemblies into reactor units of serviced vessels.
