Natural Gas Liquefaction Units for Efficient Gas Processing

The units are designed for liquefaction of natural gas. During liquefaction, natural gas is reduced in volume by a factor of about 600. Liquefaction plants are not a standard type of equipment, because the principle scheme and composition of the equipment are determined depending on a number of parameters specific to a particular facility: gas pressure, its composition, the content of valuable and harmful impurities, the presence of moisture and solid impurities.

The ejector-throttle cycle (0.3 - 3 tonnes of LNG per hour on one line) is optimal for setting up mini LNG plants as an alternative to laying gas pipelines to supply remote infrastructure facilities and NGVs within a radius of 150-250 km with natural gas. Since 2006, more than 20 natural gas liquefiers have been delivered to customers in China. Nitrogen detander cycle (5-100 tonnes of LNG per hour) is optimal for implementation of projects of integrated natural gas supply to regions as an alternative to gasification programmes with construction of main and regional gas pipelines.
