Non-sterile titanium alloy rod, designed for fixation of bone fragments during osteosynthesis of diaphyseal, including high and low, fractures of the humerus, allows intraoperative compression by means of a special screw, screwed inside the rod, solid. Circular cross-section, longitudinal grooves to facilitate rod insertion and preserve the endosteal blood supply. In the proximal part, a 6 degree bend to the outside, a pointed distal tip to facilitate insertion and repositioning, in the proximal part of the rod an internal axial hole with a thread for screwing in a blind or compression screw. The product has laser markings for diameter and length. Universal design for right and left limb. The product is disposable, must be sterilised before use.
