OLYMP Short Track and Speed Skating Mats for Safe and Effective Training

Mats for short track and speed skating are used in training and competition processes to protect the life and health of athletes, as well as for the delineation of running tracks. Depending on the purpose and features of the ice surface, they have a thickness from 20 to 100 cm. Short-track mats are connected to each other with valves, attached to the hockey board with spring clips or used individually to form a short-track training area, secured to each other with tie straps. Skating mats have a special trapezoidal shape, they are fastened to each other with the help of valves and tie straps, they are attached to the support poles, forming a skating oval. The mat filling has elastic and shock-absorbing properties, which allow to protect the athlete from getting injured in a collision at speed. The mats are made waterproof to prevent the filler from getting wet and to increase the mat's lifespan.
