Description
MOPG-M couplings are designed for direct and branching splicing of construction lengths of optical cables of OKGT type, embedded in lightning protection cables of power lines, as well as self-supporting dielectric optical cables with armour made of aramid threads or fibreglass bars, used as branching cables. The body of the coupling is completely metal. The housing is mechanically sealed by means of an elastic ring gasket and four tightening bolts fixing the housing to the headband. Up to four optical cables can be inserted into the coupling. Special cable glands are used to insert the cables into the coupling, which are installed in the holes of the headband.
