Optical Communication Cable KOS-OKS-D/A for Reliable Connectivity Solutions

Optical communication cable KOS-OKS-D/A is intended for application on the unified telecommunication network of the Russian Federation. Backbone suspended reinforced multimodular cable is suspended on the supports of overhead communication lines, power lines, contact network of railways, between buildings and structures, lighting poles, inside buildings. It has a central power element made of fibreglass rod around which optical modules with fibre produced in the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union member states are twisted. A hydrophobic gel is applied to the optical modules along their entire length. The reinforcing force element is represented in the form of aramid threads. The outer shell is made of UV-resistant polyethylene.
