Preoperative Template for Implant Positioning - Ensuring Optimal Implant Placement

A product designed to determine the appropriate implant size and location for the patient just prior to or during surgery. It is usually a calibrated set or a separate plate (e.g., clear plastic sheet or cut metal mould) that matches the implant in shape/size, used by the surgeon in the final selection of implant size, placement and/or adaptation. It is used prior to implantation of, for example, total or partial endoprostheses, fracture bone fixation implants (plates, rods, including skull plates) or other types of surgical implants. This is a reusable product.
