Description
The radiation-resistant BIC implements the logical part of the multiplexed data channel interface device (MDIC) in accordance with GOST R 52070-2003 and is designed for the organisation of information exchange and control of information transmission over redundant (duplicated) MDIC in the modes of bus controller (BC), terminal device (TD), bus monitor (BM), carried out under the control of a microprocessor (control computer, CPU), using external transceivers. Supports operation of the MCPD interface device in bus controller (BC), bus terminator (TB), bus monitor (BM) or combined CB/MB mode, with software selection of the required mode. Flexible integrated interface with the CPU, providing flexibility in configuration and direct connectivity to a wide range of 8-bit and 16-bit microprocessors, with minimal auxiliary external logic.
